The Department of Human Resources provides assistance, direction and support to City Department Heads and Supervisors. In addition, the HR office maintains personnel files for all city employees, administers workers' compensation benefits, injury leave and medical and dental benefits. The HR office administers all three (3) collective bargaining agreements and is responsible for conducting disciplinary hearings as well as recruiting and hiring applicants.
PLEASE NOTE: The Circleville Civil Service Commission is a separate department from the HR office and regulates testing for the City of Circleville. The Commission does not hold regular business hours but may be reached at (740)477-8200 ext. 5080. The Civil Service Commission is responsible for notifying applicants of test scores and may be contacted at the above number for information.
Effective May 9, 2006, applications and/or resumes will only be accepted when there is a position open and an advertisement for employment has been placed.
